Our Story

Our lives changed forever on August 21st, 2018, when our 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Without having any exposure or experience with T1D, we didn’t know the warning signs, how to manage or really much at all of what the disease entailed, and came home from the hospital with a new diagnosis feeling incredibly alone. It became our mission to learn everything we could about Type 1 Diabetes so we could provide support and spread awareness. Hometown T1D became our opportunity to help in a way that we never thought was possible. We are the support we needed, and we are blessed to be able to support you.
